On the road to Indianapolis

With a score of 86.225 and 8th place in the quarter-finals, Revolution is solidly in the semi-finals. The percussion scored an 18.35 out of 20, and the brass scored a 17.1 out of 20 ... both were near perfection. They will be performing at 10:56 EST on Friday morning (for those who have access to the web-cast). This group has come a long way since June, and whatever happens, the corps, and their teaching staff should be very proud of what they have accomplished.

Today will be mostly a free day. The corps is in route to the Indianapolis Convention Center for solo and ensemble contest. Several members are in competition, and the corps will be in attendance to add support. They will leave the convention center around 5:30 pm and head to their housing site (which they will occupy through Saturday) for dinner and rehearsal.

Daily Menu
Breakfast = Boxed cold cereal (many of the corps members were excited because they had a choice of brand names instead of the generic sacks, ie; Frosted Flakes, Fruit Loops, Trix, and etc.)
Lunch = the corps will be on their own at the convention center. For the members who are out of money, they have packages of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and leftover pasta salad.
Dinner = Elevated sandwiches (with lettuce and tomatoes)
