Dayton Summer Classic

Last night's show was good. Revolution came in second behind the Oregon Crusaders. Revolution scored an 84.1 and the Crusaders scored an 86.15. Revolution continues to improve.

Arrived in Dayton for the "Summer Classic". The weather is not exactly cool, but it is not humid and the corps should be more comfortable. The Tennessee weather was a tad short of unbearable.

The middle/school complex, where Revolution was scheduled to stay, housed eight different corps. The hosts moved Revolution to Morrison Elementary School about five minutes away. The exact address is unknown at the submission of this update, but the accommodations appear good.

The ensemble rehearsal today will be with jackets. It seems that the past rehearsals have been good, but something happens when the jackets go on for the show. The corps has opted for partial dress rehearsals in hopes that everyone will be used to the jackets for competition.

A couple of the scheduled corps are no shows, so the order of the competition may be adjusted.
