This evening, the corps settled into their new home for the next two weeks, Akins High School in South Austin. The corps will begin rehearsals tomorrow.
The kids seem to be very excited and can't wait to get to work. Crhistian Salinas said he is "excited to be here, it's a new experience." Second year vet Adam Castaneda is "a little nervous but pretty excited overall."

James Haynes spent the evening walking around the school wearing one of the new uniform hats. He wanted to get a good feel for the hat and also wanted to make sure the Velcro holding the star on would take the abuse of marching on the field. He gave it two thumbs up!
